Virgil Abloh x Mercedes fashion and motorsport

The latest collaboration between the late designer Virgil Abloh and Mercedes has just been launched, and it’s the best one yet.

Virgil Abloh’s latest collaboration with Mercedes has just been launched, and it’s the best one yet. Through the Maybach Project, the late creative rescued the 113-year-old Maybach S-Class and designed a fashion collection to match.

This car could not initially be driven. However, Mercedes has now revealed that the Maybach designed entirely by Abloh is approved for road use. The German carmaker has created a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class that is available for purchase and limited to 150 units.

The designer created a rust-coloured off-road model, equipped with thick tyres, a safari-style roof rack and detachable doors for desert drifting. Prices for a regular Maybach exceed 150,000 euros, making it one of the most expensive cars on the market at the moment.

Mercedes has also announced that it will launch a capsule collection created in collaboration with the Off-White team. The launch includes a square-cut T-shirt, an oversized hoodie, a crew-neck sweatshirt, racing gloves and a baseball cap.

Both the car and the clothing can be purchased via mercedes-benz.com The capsule is also available in the Off-White™, Farfetch and Maybach Icons of Luxury online shops and selected physical shops.
