Voodoo Music is born, its first reference: Negro con estilo

Voodoo Music presents Negro Con Estilo. Spontaneously created during the quarantine, in a time of chaos and universal pain for the black community.

Jimmy Bones and Spirit Disco (EGOSEX’s frontman) embarked on a parallel mission of pride and celebration. A hymn to the world and especially to darker-skinned people, that recovers pride and beauty in themselves even when the world around them tries to tell them otherwise.

The first release of the Afro-Spanish label comes to the market produced by LaBack and features a video directed by the versatile Wekaforé. The cover makes reference to the Spanish music classic Mi Carro by Manolo Escobar and is based on a photograph taken by Nigerian Ayomide Tejuoso.

Voodoo Music has arrived to promote African talent in Spain and to give voice to artists who do not usually have space in the national music industry. Welcome!
