At the end of last week, Ib Kamara presented his proposal for Off-White’s FW23 season. Now, we take a closer look at all the details of the creative director’s different footwear silhouettes.
Innovative finishes and reminiscent of the world of space. That’s how the latest sneaker collection from Off-White could be summed up (very briefly). On the one hand, we find the ‘Glove’ trainer, which is characterised by replacing the lacing system with a velcro fastening and standing on a high, dynamic sole. On a mesh base, it includes leather overlays that give it that futuristic air as if it were a spaceship.
The second silhouette is quite reminiscent of the Cross Low by Salomon x MM6 Maison Margiela, as it features a kind of bootie-like sheath that fits around the ankle. It also has a platform sole similar to the Glove model and comes in a variety of colour combinations such as bright orange or cobalt blue, typical shades of distant planets.
If you don’t want to miss any Off-White launches, we recommend you keep an eye on our website and social media. In the meantime… Why don’t you take a look at the new adidas Originals Stan Smith x Hello Kitty?
