After months of hype, the adventure between LVMH (@lvmh) and Rihanna has finally materialized. The superstar, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, will present her first collection for her new brand, to be called Fenty, later this month in Paris. The offer ranges from ready-to-wear to accessories, footwear, sunglasses and jewellery.
The pop superstar will present her first fashion collection for the French luxury multinational later this month in Paris.
“Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us. Mr. Arnault has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, without artistic limits.”, said Rihanna,
Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty line, launched in collaboration with LVMHK’s sub-enterprise, generated 500 million euros in its first year of operation, underscoring the power of the Barbadian singer.
Fenty is the first fashion brand launched from zero by LVMH since Christian Lacroix was founded in 1987.
“Everyone knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our association in Fenty Beauty, I discovered a real businesswoman, a real executive director and a great leader. Naturally, she has found her place at LVMH.”, said Arnault.
If any of you ask, wasn’t Fenty from Puma? We inform you that her collection with Puma, owned by the rival luxury group Kering, ended in the spring of 2018.
