The parisian house, Saint Laurent, never ceases to amaze us lately. In addition to the collaboration with Colette, we must also add the recent presentation of its new campaign for next spring. The new proposal is starring by the icon of world fashion, our idolised, Kate Moss.
Kate, declared lover of a Parisian house since the time of Hedi Slimane had not done anything with them since the time of Tom Ford. I knew that now was the time to return and the British model has been convinced by the Parisian firm to create one of those campaigns that breaks the barriers between advertising and art pieces.
Finally and after some teaser en instagram, Saint Laurent has released the spring 2018 campaign where David Sims photographed the iconic model with a feather dress that pays tribute to the archive of Yves Saint Laurent.
The campaign does not stop at Sims’ photographs, but is accompanied by a video directed by Nathalie Canguilhem. In it, the model travels up stairs that seem to lead to heaven. Along the way there is a heated encounter with Jamie Bochert, to finally finish the short fleeing by helicopter and pulling her breasts out from under a fur coat.
One of those campaigns realised for the memory and that bring back again to the front row, if I ever leave it, to the british Kate Moss.
