alt-J arrives in Spain with two dates as part of his world tour ‘The Dream Tour’. Madrid and Barcelona will be the cities chosen for the public to enjoy their live show.
During the last edition of Mad Cool we were able to enjoy the British trio, where they became one of the most acclaimed by the public and critics. Their original and forceful style means that alt-J, after 10 years in the eye of the storm, continue to present material with that fresh sound that we always want more of.
On this tour through Madrid and Barcelona, the UK band will present live their fourth studio album, their first in four years: ‘The Dream’. It’s a record in which true-crime inspired stories, Hollywood fairytales and the Chateau Marmont intermingle with some of alt-J‘s most personal moments to date. Both beauty and darkness often merge seamlessly into the same shot. A wise choice that pays off throughout this album. The band’s dazzling instrumentation has matured, there are still escapist moments but they are now deployed with artful precision.
