Burberry has just launched its Arthur sneakers covered in blue denim and featuring its “TB” monogram, a reference to Thomas Burberry, the brand’s founder.
The origins of the Arthur sport silhouette date back to the brand‘s FW19 runway show. They were presented as sneakers with urban influences and inspired by the protective footwear worn by sailors, as they were characterized by their rubber cover. Since then, Burberry has launched different models —in eco-canvas, nylon or with its classic print— and now has just surprised us with a new denim version.
This time, the Arthur is dressed in blue denim printed with the brand’s monogram on the upper, while its toe cap and mudguards keep their black rubber. On the other hand, the new model is also characterized by the presence of reflective material and the Burberry stamp in red and white that stands out on each tongue. In addition, in order to give a touch of style to this sporty sneaker, its midsoles are slightly cut out in the heel area.
The new Arthur can now be purchased on the Burberry website for 690€. And if you missed any news about the brand, you can catch up here.
