Reebok (@reebok) has recovered from its archive the mythical DMX Daytona OG, a shoe that arrives in time to get into the hype – still running – of the dad-sneakers.
The Daytona was conceived as a high-performance runner’s shoe in the mid-1990s, had a unique cushioning system at the time and stood up to giants like the all-powerful Nike.
Next month it will be back, but it will be destined for a different audience and with the characteristics of the original model. It comes to compete in the field of the dad-sneaker and in the retro-runner futuristic aesthetics trend that also continues to rise.
The silhouette we believe can work, its future-oriented aesthetics and its direct connection to the 90’s make the DMX Daytona OG a safe bet for movement lovers.
We know it will go on sale through Hanon on July 6th for £109 for all other retailers and specifically Spain we have no information.
