Air Max Tailwind 4, the 2019 bet

For the last few weeks we’ve been seeing teasers of new Tailwind 4 colours. It’s clear that this 2019 Nike is betting on another throwback.

The new colorway – Air Max Tailwind 4 – that has crept into our lives is the Navy/Gold and, yes, it is another return to 2000. We know, lately we live anchored to the age of the exaggerated, the tasteless and the all in. But we anticipated long ago that 2019 would be about this.

An original 1999 sneaker that now returns on its 20th anniversary stronger than ever. After the recent collaboration with Supreme we have all set our sights on the silhouette. A mix of leather and synthetics that together with an air chamber that occupies the entire sole make it a #must this year.

The launch date is not known at this time. But we’re absolutely sure it won’t take long to arrive at nike.com.
