APC takes the Lacoste crocodile to another dimension

French ready-to-wear brand APC has teamed up with Lacoste and taken the iconic crocodile to a new, more sophisticated dimension.

French ready-to-wear brand APC has teamed up with Lacoste and taken the iconic crocodile to a new, more sophisticated dimension.

 

The crocodile symbol is intrinsic to the Lacoste brand, so it is the focus of this collaboration. The brand’s artistic director, Louise Trotter, worked with APC founders Jean and Judith Touitou to merge the values of both brands, resulting in a print featuring the famous animal surrounding the APC logo.

Standout pieces in the collection include the classic windbreaker, available in navy nylon, khaki and APC’s signature denim. Silhouettes are oversized, including classic polo shirts that are transformed with patchwork detailing. Fleeces and joggers are reinvented with different iterations of the iconic logo.

Accessories are also part of the collaboration, from trainers and striped socks to giant tote bags and an APC x Lacoste, sail, inspired by the Parisian tennis courts of the Luxembourg Gardens.

 

The new collaboration will be available for purchase on 8 June on the APC website.
