Aries and New Balance elevate running in “Unbalanced”

London-based brand Aries is once again launching a collaboration with New Balance, this time moving away from streetwear to focus on running. 

 

The latest capsule from Aries and New Balance features a selection of sportswear introducing new versions of the Aries tracksuits and a trainer called the Fresh Foam 1080v11.

The shoe itself comes in a predominantly black and red colour scheme, with yellow and fluorescent green accents. Of particular note is the collection’s “NB-AA” logo on the side of the sneaker.

The black and red colour palette continues throughout the collection, including on the tracksuits and running apparel. In addition, all garments feature the same “NB-AA” branding and the collection’s “Unbalanced” title.

For the launch, photographer David Sims has created a short film celebrating “Unbalanced”. This is represented through asymmetry, positioning personal achievement as one of the main goals in sport rather than victory.

 

The collection will launch via the Aries website on 30 March, before launching globally on the New Balance online shop the day after.
