Sports brand Asics unveils a new collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov. The new silhouette resulting from this acclaimed duo is called: Studio-Curated FB1-S GEL-PRELEUS. Another gem for the sneaker collection.
If there’s anything we love more than an Asics, it’s an Asics x Kiko Kostadinov. The ongoing relationship between creative masters has resulted in a new silhouette. Designed by Laura and Deanna Fanning (@laura_deanna_fanning), the FB1-S GEL-PRELEUS silhouette is based on an archival model that has been reinvented to adopt a retro-futuristic aesthetic.
The shoe is designed with mesh overlays and a leather upper. In addition, the silhouette features GEL branding on the outsole, giving the shoe its sleeker aesthetic. The new shoe comes in “Metropolis / Carrier Grey” and “Pink Rave / Olive Canvas“.
“The inferred speed from the dynamic curved line in side profile and tooling inspired us to facilitate the development of this archive style for women. The [GELTM] Preleus offers depth and height in the arch of the heel that was a great contrast in consideration of the diversity of ASICS Styles for women,” Laura and Deanna Fanning said.
FB1-S GEL-PRELEUS is available now from the ASICS webshop in both colour combinations. They’re flying.
