Cardi B gives her 2-year-old daughter an 8,000 euro Birkin and the networks explode

If there’s one thing Cardi B can’t stand, it’s someone telling her what to do. Just a week ago, she was celebrating the second birthday of her daughter Kulture – who received a Birkin bag as a gift. After it was published, thousands of angry fans criticized her.

On July 10th, Cardi (@iamcardib) and Offset (offsetyrn) celebrated their daughter’s birthday with a big party, among the extravagant gifts was the controversial pink Birkin. Offset didn’t hesitate to share the moment in an Instagram post “Late is better then never I Birkin my baby”.  In just one day the video already accumulated more than 4 million views.

A fan commented: “She’s going to put pencils, snacks, wrappers and some open candy in a bag worth more than my life on the black market. I’m going to sleep.” We feel you.

However, Cardi has no plans to apologize for her expensive taste. The rapper shared a video with her 70 million followers answering the critics.

“I know that when celebrities buy their kids jewelry and designer clothes, people say, ‘Kids don’t care about that, they just care about toys and candy. But the thing is, kids are out there too. Kids go to restaurants, kids go to fancy places. Famous kids go to red carpets.

“If I’m wearing Chanel, my daughter’s gonna have the same thing. It doesn’t depend on what the kids like. If it were up to the kids, they’d be in diapers all day. And if I dressed up and had my daughter as a tramp, then you’d criticize me too.”
