Cecilie Bahnsen and ASICS present a beautiful hybrid Mary Jane

Cecilie Bahnsen’s latest collaboration with ASICS combines elements of high fashion with sneaker design. It’s a new take on the ASICS GEL GT-2160 silhouette, a mary jane hybrid.

Bahnsen creates a feminine silhouette that breaks with traditional sneaker conventions by offering an extended sizing up to US 10.5. The model includes a selection of shiny silver or black velcro straps adorned with floral elements. It also features a lacing system with two eyelets that simulates a bow.

“Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS; paying homage to the studied craftsmanship and passion invested in this collaboration, echoing the artistry behind each sneaker. The sneakers are displayed on plinths in a raw space that creates a striking contrast by merging Cecilie Bahnsen’s feminine universe with ASICS’ technical appeal,” Bahnsen shared on Instagram.

The highly anticipated Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS collaboration will go on sale in limited quantities on Bahnsen’s website starting July 5.
