Daniëlle Cathari has designed the latest New Balance 991v2

Inspired by matcha tea and mixing the 991 and 992 codes, the designer continues to explore the world of footwear.

This is the first meeting between Cathari and New Balance, which comes after the designer has worked hand in hand with other industry giants such as adidas and Clarks. Now, she becomes the third collaborator on this eye-catching silhouette, which comes in suede and mesh in a colour palette combining moss green and earthy brown.

The tongue features the collaboration’s signature custom tongue, while grey detailing overlaying the ‘N’ logo and taking over the toe cap in the form of overlays completes the design. Finally, the bi-tonal midsole features FuelCell cushioning that runs the length of the foot.

The Daniëlle Cathari x New Balance 991V2 will be released on 9 February.
