So the ASICS GEL-NYC takes some of those ideas and transforms them into a shoe that combines elements from the brand’s archive. With the ASICS Cumulus 16 as a base, the new GEL-NYC uses elements from the Nimbus 3 and MC Plus V to add new dimensions through material and colour options. A combination of lightweight foam and GEL technology in the midsole and retro influences in the upper. ASICS heritage meets modern style, the quintessential NYC.
Since the great buildings of the city that never sleeps have already been portrayed to exhaustion, FOOTDISTRICT and ASICS have decided to focus on its people as a starting point to get to know the style and momentum that drives New York.
