First images of the Stone Island x New Balance 991v2

The creative duo meet again this season in a limited edition release.

Alarm bells went off on August 29th, when Stone Island and New Balance announced their comeback in a series of co-branded images. Now, the first (unofficial) images have arrived, revealing details of the three pairs of sneakers they’ve been working on for the past few months.

Judging by the images, three iterations of New Balance‘s 991v2 model will soon be available with Stone Island‘s unique codes. The monochrome options in olive green, light grey and black have been created in a blend of soft suede and mesh. The Italian brand’s insignia is present on the upper tongue area, while the sports giant’s iconic ‘N’ remains in the same position as the original model.

At the moment, no official release date has been confirmed, but more information is expected in the coming days.
