The eyewear company Gentle Monster has presented its new pre-collection 2021 called “VOID”. The capsule consists of seven designs that follow the futuristic aesthetic that so defines the Korean brand.
After its recent collaboration with Marine Serre , Gentle Monster has launched the “VOID” pre-collection in which it includes seven models of sunglasses with a futuristic air. This strong connection with the one to come is a recurring theme in many current campaigns. The current situation has caused us to deal with the uncertainty of what will become of us, Gentle Monster channels all these doubts in an exploration towards creativity with daring and avant-garde designs.
The seven models that make up the pre-collection 2021 of the house are Rick, Frida, New Bond, Ghost, Deus, Kings and Agail – Hyper and Rave will be available soon. The capsule contains a wide variety of designs, from the most classic to the most daring. Geometric shapes, cat’s eye or coloured lenses are some of the strengths of the Korean brand. Because “VOID” is a representation of the free spirit that Gentle Monster follows when designing.
“DEUS” stands out for its rectangular shape and translucent frame inspired by the fashion of the 90s. “GHOST” follows the same aesthetic, but with a more summery colour palette and silver sports details on the sides. For those looking to add basic, timeless styles to their wardrobe, there is “FRIDA”, “RICK” or “AGAIL” – simple silhouettes with subtle details. Completing the collection are “NEW BOND” or “KINGS”, with retrofuturistic designs perfect for autumn.
