Gentle Monster takes tiny sunglasses to a surrealistic level

The futuristic eyewear brand takes the tiny sunglasses trend to its peak with the “Nano” collection. This new series of micro-mini frames by Gentle Monster is presented in a lookbook and a surreal 360° film, in sync with the overall concept.

The Korean brand‘s “Nano” collection is shown in an escapist mode in the form of various symbolic images created by the Russian artist collective AES+F. The new ultra-tiny models star in the looks of a series of fantastical characters, accompanied by flying cats and winged dogs.

Within the visionary range, we find the Nano G1 01, a Wayfarer-style frame with gold rims and temples, or the Nano G2 02: seamless lenses tinted in a baby blue tone. The third design, the Nano GF3 02, is the most disruptive option with orange oval lenses and silver folding temples.

 

The Nano GF2 032 with bright red flip-up lenses embossed with gold logos completes the surreal series. The sunglasses will be priced from 257 euros and will be on sale soon on the Gentle Monster website.
