Jil Sander x UNIQLO +J line returns for FW21

Continuing the duo’s relationship dating back to 2009 and the success of their last collection for SS21, fashion designer Jil Sander and UNIQLO have announced a new capsule for autumn/winter 2021.

UNIQLO and Jil Sander’s +J line was one of the fashion label’s first partnerships with designers. The success of this collaboration sparked subsequent collaborations with Christophe Lemaire, Tomas Maier and JW Anderson. After a five-year hiatus, the line returned in 2020 and now continues in 2021.

UNIQLO has released a short clip below that shows the status of the upcoming launch along with a quote from designer Jil Sander that reads, “As I close a chapter, I wonder what the future will look like,” perhaps referencing the future beyond the pandemic.

The items in the new capsule + J line have yet to be revealed, but previous collections have incorporated minimalist and timeless pieces. In addition, the UNIQLO x Jil Sander garments are made from premium materials and at an affordable price.
