Louis Vuitton unveils the LV Trainer 2 designed by Virgil Abloh

Combining bakset codes and Louis Vuitton tradition, Virgil Abloh designed the LV Trainer 2.

Combining bakset codes and Louis Vuitton tradition, Virgil Abloh designed the LV Trainer 2. Unveiled during the posthumous Fall/Winter 2022 show, they are now on sale.

While the original LV Trainer silhouette has its origins in the world of skateboarding, this second version is inspired by basketball aesthetics. The result is a sporty, high-top sneaker with details that nod to the Air Jordan VIII.

The LV basketball badge appears on the tongue, while the heel area features a padded lining to ensure a superior level of comfort. The Louis Vuitton logo is placed on the sides and tongue straps, while the floral monogram adorns the upper and the back of the sole.

Each pair takes up to seven hours of dedication to complete every detail. Available in black and white, you can find the Louis Vuitton LV Trainer 2 in the brand’s physical boutiques as well as on its website.
