Meet Alejandre Studio universe, where sensuality and sexuality of women are the protagonists

We talked to Sandra Alejandre, founder of the firm, about the origins and how she sees the future of Alejandre Studio after the success of her first collection.

“We talked to Sandra Alejandre, founder of the firm, about the origins of the brand and how she sees the future of Alejandre Studio after the success of her first collection.

From the beginning, it was clear to Sandra that she would have no limits when it came to creating and building her own brand.  “It was always clear to me that no social stigma or taboo would prevent me from carrying out what was beginning to take shape in my head”. That mantra that has accompanied him since birth gave rise to the first collection; later it would have become the fundamental pillar of Alejandre Studio.

This is the universe of Alejandre Studio, that of a free and sensual woman, “a lingerie world, in a context of the 2000s, where the sensuality and sexuality of women are the protagonists”. The brand’s imaginary includes corsets, lingerie and cotton bodysuits and leggings.

Although the designer is only 24 years old, the future is promising. After her welcome first collection, Sandra already wants to know how far she will go with the next one. The designer’s success on the international scene is more than palpable. Abroad is where she has made more echo; “most customers come from places like the U.S., UK, Germany or Hong Kong”.

Far from worrying her, she is proud to see how her designs cross the Spanish borders. Artists such as Dua Lipa wear her designs, and that is something that cannot be overlooked for such a young brand. “To see that your designs and above all that your creativity and your aesthetic proposal has been so well received and feels so real that your garments are worn by artists like Dua Lipa fills you with pride. It really encourages you to keep going and not set limits. You never know how far you can go, who will be the next to be interested in your work or what will be the next goal to reach.”

In order to achieve ethical production and avoid product surplus, the brand’s creations are on demand. “We take this into account (…) we also go to a collection per year, which also helps to be sustainable. We do not make a mass production of garments; that allows a deceleration of the creation times to give more value to the design”.

A different brand that aims to move away from the social stigmas around aesthetics. Alejandre Studio’s mission is to transfer freedom to the universe of design.
