The latest collaboration between the New York streetwear brand and the popular American sportswear manufacturer is this reinterpretation of the New Balance 1906R by Aimé Leon Dore.
After the reinterpretation of the New Balance 860v2 by Aimé Leon Dore’s team, both brands have officially announced their new collaboration that will be on sale very soon; it is a new version of the New Balance 1906R.
The heel cage at the rear of the shoe, toe cap overlays and logo are wrapped in a forest green hue, while the reflective quarter panel overlays showcase a brighter, lighter shade of green. The majority of the base layer is made of breathable mesh, and features a cream exterior with a touch of real gold bordering the side panel where the New Balance logos are located. The tongues and insoles feature floral icons as a nod to Aimé Leon Dore.
The sneakers will be available starting May 4 from New Balance for $170 USD.
Speaking of footwear, Vans’ Classic Old School gets an update in the form of the Knu Skool.
