Nike pays tribute to one of NY’s most important cultures with “De Lo Mio”

Nike celebrates Dominican culture with “De Lo Mío“.

Last month we shared with you the first photos of the new Nike Air Force 1 “De lo Mío“. Today Nike makes it official and brings us even closer to the tribute that a Dominican with a unique creative ability, @ceze.p, makes to the Dominican community of New York.

In the design we find a white upper in which the red and blue accents attract attention and connect directly to the Dominican flag. “Republica” and “Dominicana” are in the right and left tabs respectively with the Swoosh logos alternating in red and blue continuing with the wink to the flag.  The same message of the tongues is repeated on the heels, and to finish a huge Swoosh that degrades from red to blue and all supported by incredible translucent soles in which you can read “De Lo Mío”.

An elegant proposal, with the right nuances and that drinks directly from the streets of New York.

The sneaker will go on sale on November 17 at selected stores and Nike SNKRS, although it is not confirmed that this marvel of street culture will reach Spain :-(.
