The duo of designers who were creative directors at French luxury house Nina Ricci, Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh, have just announced their departure after three and a half years. But what is it that has led Botter and Herrebrugh to leave the brand belonging to the Puig group? We tell you now.
The reason why both have decided to leave their positions as creative directors of the maison, has been none other than the desire to devote 100% to the other clothing brand that both founded and currently run creatively, Botter.
This news has been announced through Instagram by the designers themselves with a post in which they spoke of a “mutual agreement” that put an end to the association with the following words: “We felt it was the right time to devote all our attention to Botter, which is now entering an interesting moment and which we want to take to a new level”. “We thank Nina Ricci and Puig for their trust and our passionate team for their work and support. We are proud to have put our creativity at the service of this iconic fashion house”.
Who will be the next to take over as Nina Ricci’s creative director? We’ll have to wait and see…
