At the beginning of each year, Stüssy and Nike have teamed up to launch various collaborations, including new versions of the Air Zoom Spiridon 2 and the Air Zoom Spiridon Kukini. Also, to bring back their popular Air Huarache. And this 2022 was not to be any less, instead of elevating a cult silhouette, they come with a new version of the Air Force 1 Mid for the first time.
Like their previous collaborations, Stüssy and Nike have opted for simplicity in their new design. The Air Force 1 Mid comes in a very neutral colour combination of black and white. This next release is based on the yin and yang style. This is the first time that the iconic label has given its creative touch to this Swoosh model.
The upper of this new model is made with black tumbled leather that overlaps the white leather. The Swooshes and “AIR” along the midsole remain intact, while the strap, tongue label and toe cap feature Stüssy branding, with his name and S logo both embroidered and embossed, as well as on the perforations.
Although they have yet to confirm an exact release date, rumours confirm that the new collaborative trainer is set for release in 2022.
