Print damier takes over Louis Vuitton’s latest capsule collection

Louis Vuitton and Virgil Abloh bring back the Damier archival print for their latest autumn capsule collection. Find out all the details.

French fashion house Louis Vuitton and its current creative director Virgil Abloh have just unveiled the men’s fall 2021 capsule collection perfect for print damier lovers.

The collection is covered in prints and patterns inspired by a greeting card written by Gaston-Louis Vuitton in 1914. Among the garments in this capsule, we have to highlight the beige coats, which contrast perfectly with the blue tones of a knitted jumper and the Damier check “Keepall” bag.

The same print appears on a suit ensemble, which is complemented by a smaller version of the leather accessory. This archival print is the clear protagonist of both accessories and a selection of jackets, while the classic LV monogram is updated with tie-dye detailing. Finally, special mention must be made of the Sirius briefcase (a big trend at the moment) and the turquoise “Damier” print Messenger Trio bag.

What do you think of this latest Louis Vuitton men’s capsule? Take a look at the gallery and if there’s anything you like, just know that you’ll have to wait until September 4th, when this collection will be released.
