PUMA and global pop superstar Dua Lipa present the second release of their collaboration with Flutur.

PUMA and global pop superstar Dua Lipa present the second release of their collaboration with Flutur.

Flutur‘s cheeky aesthetic invites bright colours and fitted styles, inspired by old-school rave culture. The collection is full of bold hues, holographic detailing and retro silhouettes. Active mixes are showcased through striped tees, retro sportswear and tracksuit-inspired cuts.

Shades of pink, purple and orange define the colour palette of the selection which includes clothing, footwear and accessories while, Dua Lipa herself, introduces a new pink hairstyle to match the colour scheme.

Front and centre, Dua Lipa‘s butterfly logo represents transition and new beginnings. A theme that has much to do with the London-born artist‘s life as she went through her own creative metamorphosis. The butterfly graphic shares placement with PUMA’s cat insignia on many of the garments.

“The butterfly represents transition, metamorphosis and new beginnings. From the beginning, when I started working on the first drop, the butterfly already had a lot of meaning for me. Now, in the second, that meaning has solidified and it is even more important in my life. I feel as if everything is progressing and manifesting itself in a different way,” Dua herself assures.

Flutur Drop2 comprises more than 30 items, including the flared T7 tracksuit and the exclusive CELL Dome King; created exclusively by Lipa. The unisex collection is also available in a wide range of inclusive sizes. Also taking centre stage is the series of bright tracksuits based on the artist’s vision of a nostalgic, party style that is both comfortable and functional.

The full footwear offering includes models such as the CELL Dome King and three variations of the Mayze model; Mayze, Mayze Boot and Mayze Metallic. Dua Lipa worked closely with long-time PUMA collaborator, designer and songwriter Billy Walsh, who helped bring the collection to life.

Photographed by Jordan Hemingway and choreographed by John Byrne, the campaign features Dua Lipa‘s ‘Future Nostalgia’ tour dance team: Samantha Grover, Didde-Mie From, Jason Nguyen, Zaccary Mile, Fatou Bah, Robyn Laud, Sharon Mangoendinomo, Demi Mensah, Kane Horn, Lamaar Manning and Shawarah Battles.
