Reebok and Cardi B announce the arrival of “Let Me Be… In My World”

Following the resounding success of their first clothing collection, Reebok and Cardi B are revealing a new chapter in their collaboration. To that end, they’ve prepared the launch of a new capsule comprised of clothing and footwear. And we couldn’t be more excited.

 

For the “Let Me Be… In My World” collection, which will be released at the same time as the new Classic Leather silhouette, Cardi B took inspiration from New York City. It’s her hometown, so each element of her design represents some aspect of the hip hop star’s legacy.

A continuation of Cardi‘s signature and life-inspired details from the first collection, the “Let Me Be… In My World” capsule takes its cue from the busy concrete world in which she grew up. With silhouettes featuring exaggerated proportions ranging from fitted cuts to oversized sleeves and super short waists, the details reflect Cardi‘s personality. Cutouts represent her outspoken personality, bungee elastic detailing allows for maximum versatility, while bold coloured stitching adds an extra touch to her monochrome look.

Every aspect of Cardi‘s personality is present in every millimetre of the collection, designed to get you through the day from dawn to dusk.

The sports brand‘s designers have worked closely with Cardi from start to finish. Starting with the initial conceptualisation process and the first designs, and throughout the entire creation cycle. Cardi B worked with Reebok designers to bring the story, colours and designs to life.

“I was so excited to see how well received my first collaborative clothing collection with Reebok was that I can’t wait to present this new one,” says the singer. “This New York City-inspired collection is made up of some of my favourite types of clothing – from corsets to tracksuits to trainers – all inspired by my time living in New York and my love for the city.”

‘Let Me Be… In My World’ by Cardi B x Reebok will be available for all body types, from 2XS to 4XL. The capsule colours are matched to the shades of the Classic Leather Cardi B silhouette.
