Rihanna’s Fenty x PUMA is back with a football sneaker

The first Fenty x PUMA sneaker will be available from September 15.

The Fenty x PUMA Avanti is a unisex model that combines the leather upper of the PUMA King football boots with the outsole of the brand’s running shoe, the Easy Rider.

Rihanna’s interpretation of the classic PUMA King, known for being worn by Brazilian football legend Pelé, adds her personal touch to the design, from the leather detailing to the rubber outsole. “I wanted to bring something iconic from the archives to the street,” Rihanna shares. “The late great Pelé made the Avanti sneaker so iconic.”

The Fenty x PUMA Avanti joins the list of recent collaborations between football and fashion and includes a folded tongue with the Fenty logo and the Puma Cat embossed and stamped in gold.
