If you’re as obsessed with interior design as we are, you can’t miss what Anthony Vaccarello has created at Saint Laurent to commemorate 40 years of Memphis.
This proposal is part of the Saint Laurent Rive Droite project for Memphis, in which Vaccarello pays tribute to the 40-year career of this group of architects and interior designers. To this end, he has launched an exhibition of original Memphis creations and a capsule collection of clothing.
This exhibition showcases some of Memphis’ most iconic works, such as the RING bed by Masanori Umeda; the RIVIERA chairs by Michele De Lucchi and the CARLTON room divider by Ettore Sottsass. The exhibition is completed by a series of homeware items ranging from ceramic objects and textiles to vases and dishes. Completing the launch is a series of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear garments. Vaccarello has created the entire textile capsule inspired precisely by the works of Memphis.
The exhibition will be available at Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and LA until June 23rd. At the French capital store, a coffee-to-go counter will be added inside. You can shop the new collection of interiors, clothing and accessories online.
