Slam Jam announces the re-launch of the Northwave Espresso, one of the most emblematic shoes of the 90’s. It triumphed by combining the sole of a snowboard boot with the upper of a sneaker.

Last fall, Northwave (@northwave_official) teamed up with Japanese brand YSTRDY’S TMRRW to resurrect the Cream shoe, reintroducing style by producing two new color combinations. Now, the Italian manufacturer has partnered with Slam Jam to bring back another iconic 90’s silhouette: the Northwave Espresso.
In particular, Northwave and Slam Jam have presented the launch of four different models of Espresso, reworking the shoe in suede and leather, with an eco-fur lining, for the new models in black, blue, broken white and red. The original Espresso, which debuted in 1991 and was re-launched in Japan in 2014, came to life by mixing the sole of the snowboard boot with the top of a sneaker; it is considered to be a ” shoe designed by snowboarders for people”.
Slam Jam x Northwave Espresso is now available on the Slam Jam website for 130 euros, hurry up, there are only the last pairs left!
