Facebook continues with its idea of “improving the communication experience” of Internet users and bets this time on an app specialized in dating: Sparked.
The new product research team, also known as NPE, has teamed up with the big social network to launch Sparked and facilitate the emergence of new relationships.
The idea is simple: speed dating through four-minute video calls. In this way, users connect to the application through their Facebook profiles and provide the information they want. If the meeting is successful, users move on to the second phase, which consists of a 10-minute appointment. Finally, if the connection continues, the interested parties can chat outside the app.
Sparked is free, simple, fast and confidential. The only requirement is to have an active Facebook account. At the moment, the iOS and Android version is in the testing process and there are still no details about when it will be launched.
