These are the autumn trends seen at Las Rozas Village and La Roca Village

If you follow us since the beginning of HIGHXTAR. you will know two of our favourite places to find trends and buy the best looks of the brands of the moment: Las Rozas Village (Madrid), and La Roca Village (Barcelona). And we’re not the only ones saying it, the new cool kids and trendsetters know that these two sophisticated destinations where fashion, art and gastronomy converge, are the new meeting points where many of the talents and creatives of our country meet.

Located less than 25 minutes from the capital, Las Rozas Village is a unique space with the Sierra as a backdrop. This meeting point for fashion lovers includes a selection of boutiques such as Diesel, Coach, Etro, Hoff, among our favourites. As for La Roca Village, which represents the purest Mediterranean essence, very close to the centre of Barcelona and on the way to the Costa Brava, we highlight Nude Project, The Kooples, Levi’s and Diesel.

From HIGHXTAR. we are aware of the new proposals presented by the most influential fashion houses on the catwalks, so we have decided to go into Las Rozas Village and La Roca Village to capture those pieces that will elevate our looks. This season the 2010 aesthetic, along with the #balletcore trend, the nerd era, the rise of old-money and silent luxury are placing different fashion accessories and garments in our imagination as new objects of desire:

Knitwear

Knitwear continues to be a winning bet season after season, and of course a wardrobe staple. This autumn, the most important fashion brands like Miu Miu and Prada are fully committed to this material at all levels, following the nerd aesthetic and silent luxury, from wool ensembles and coats to knitted cardigans and jumpers. Following the trend, we rescued from La Roca Village and Las Rozas Village this iconic Lacoste knitted jumper in eights that is renewed every season in different colours. This time it combines blue, yellow and brown.

Comfy

With origins in the slippers of the ancient Ottoman empire and with Arabian overtones, the comfort of this flat-heeled shoe has conquered the wardrobes of trendsetters, not only in summer (but also in autumn with socks). Mules have been Carrie Bradshaw’s favourite shoes and, nowadays, Hailey Bieber’s too. They are positioned as one of the most versatile and comfortable silhouettes to face the in-between seasons and follow the comfy-peepy style that is so on-trend right now. We chose the Zadig & Voltaire version for this autumn.

Plaid

Once again this year, plaid is the most repeated print in the autumn collections, especially with the influence of the ‘old money’ and ‘college’ aesthetics. On this occasion, red will be the infallible choice for this print as it has been chosen as the colour of the season, according to Trendo, the consumer trends agency. Following all these influences in La Roca Village and Las Rozas Village we have found this schoolgirl style skirt option by Cavalli that perfectly meets these vibes. Plus, you can combine it with another FW23 trend: coloured tights.

Metallic vibes

Metallic garments and accessories are an absolute trend this autumn. This is confirmed by the streetstyles of the fashion shows. Brands like Miu Miu or Chloé have already opted, for example, for silver shoes, while others like Gucci, Michael Kors or Valentino prefer to go for garments like skirts or dresses and accessories like bags. In La Roca Village and Las Rozas Village we have found this Coach bag that follows the trend. A brand of reference for many celebrities, mainly American, it has the best designs in handbags

Total denim

The rule is simple: denim is worn from head to toe. A Y2K spirit that continues season after season. The denim obsession started with Diesel and Blumarine, but Dior has joined the trend this autumn with its first all-denim capsule and Acne Studios has chosen Kylie Jenner as the face of its FW23 denim campaign. At La Roca Village and Las Rozas Village they have this Diesel denim jacket with a very original style that follows the structure of a varsity, very trendy and useful for the in-between seasons.

Athleisure

The athleisure trend has made it fashionable to wear sportswear in your everyday life. A dress code that celebrities have been following since time immemorial and luxury brands have been including it in their collections for years. This style of dress has it girls like Kendall Jenner or Gigi Hadid as ambassadors. Previously we saw how the cycling style flooded the street style or even the fashion-meets-football synergy. Well, now it’s the après ski aesthetic that’s making a comeback and we’ve rescued these UGG X Shayne Oliver boots from La Roca Village and Las Rozas Village.
