After the first collaboration last April, Vivienne Westwood and ASICS have met again to create new sneakers together. However, this new collection is more discreet than the first one.
On this occasion, the iconic British designer has been inspired by some of the most famous paintings in Art History. The collection consists of three trainers: HyperGEL-LYTE, GELSAGA and GEL-DS TRAINER OG. The first are decorated with Daphnis and Chloe paint by Francois Boucher; the second have a translucent base; and the third combine a leather base dyed in the primary colours with black suede details. All include small tags with “CHAOS” on them, logos on the tongue and printed soles.
The three versions of this new collaboration between Vivienne Westwood (@viviennewestwood) and Asics (@asics) will go on sale on 17 August. Prices range from 130 to 150 euros.
