What’s new at Uniqlo: Peanuts x Yu Nagaba

Uniqlo launches a new collaboration paying tribute to the Peanuts characters. On this occasion it has collaborated with artist Yu Nagaba.

Uniqlo has just launched a new capsule in collaboration with Japanese artist Yu Nagaba. This latest drop brings together a series of products —from sweatshirts to caps to umbrellas— starring Snoopy and company.

Uniqlo
Without a doubt, one of the hallmarks of the Japanese fashion chain are their collaborations. JW Anderson, Jil Sander, Kaws or Theory, are just some of the creative talents that have left their mark on Uniqlo. To bid farewell to 2020, the brand has teamed up with Yu Nagaba, an artist based in Tokyo who has illustrated this collection that pays tribute to the characters of Peanuts.

This is not the first time that Snoopy and his friends have snuck into Uniqlo garments. Last year they launched a series of t-shirts to celebrate their 70th anniversary, and in 2017 they did the same with a capsule designed by Kaws. On this occasion, the illustrator Yu Nagaba —known for his minimalist lines— has transferred the essence of the character created by Schulz to Japanese products. The collaboration consists of different models of sweatshirts, t-shirts, tote bags, caps and even umbrellas, available in pastel or black colors.

Some of the most outstanding garments are a hooded sweatshirt with the phrase “A day spent with friends is a good day” on the front or the series of t-shirts with different illustrations by Snoopy. On the other hand, among the accessories, we can find caps with the character embroidered, three versions of toiletry bags and umbrellas with Snoopy and Charlie Brown prints.

The items in the Peanuts x Yu Nagaba collection range from $9.90 to $29.90 and are already available at Uniqlo’s physical and online stores.
