Raf Simons has had a strong impact on the footwear industry since last year, when he launched his first RUNNER collection. This season, the brand introduces the snakeskin Solaris-21 boots, the Ozweego-referencing Cylon-21 trainers and more.
The designs stand out for their originality and haute couture avant-garde, which made his shoes sell out in shops all over the world. The Raf-helmed line is back to prove that his shoes are here to stay.
The Solaris-21 is the leader of the pack and returns in plain black leather or white and pink snakeskin. This pair features an almond toe, bubble detailing on the upper and a silver-tone zip at the back. Make it clear that these heels are designed for anyone who doesn’t like to go unnoticed.
On the other hand, the Cylon-21 trainers arrive in shops in black-on-black suede, black-on-pink leather and a mix of white-on-white leather and suede and also with bubble details reminiscent of Raf Simons’ adidas Ozweego collection. The logo appears on the midsole along with a heel clip that can be removed and swapped for another colour.
Finally, the SS21 collection is completed by two new Antei trainers in full white leather or yellow leather with burgundy suede.
