Zara launches a capsule collection with Rhuigi Villaseñor

Zara has unveiled a collaboration with renowned Filipino-American designer, Rhuigi Villaseñor for this spring/summer 2022.

Zara continues its strategy of raising the profile of its brand as well as increasing the appeal of its offerings by introducing a collaboration with renowned Filipino-American designer, Rhuigi Villaseñor.

Continuing with the collaborative capsule collections with Good American and ADERERROR, the main brand of the Inditex group has just launched a new capsule on the market. After enriching its women’s collections for some time, this time it is once again putting its men’s line at the centre with the “RHU” collection in collaboration with designer Rhuigi Villaseñor.

The collection has been developed under the umbrella of a project led by Rhuigi Villaseñor and Zara, from which both parties seem to have decided to redefine the fashion codes of the future. The artist has managed to generate an aesthetic that seems to draw from fashion and the most characteristic baggy cuts of the 90s.

The launch includes sports and atheisure garments, including tracksuits and leggings, sports jackets, shorts and technical shirts. In addition to this line, the “RHU” collection also includes other more urban items, such as polos, sweatshirts, jumpers, bomber jackets, shirts and various models of trousers and denim jackets.

Rhuigi Villaseñor has opted for a chromatic palette, psychedelic prints in fluorine and neon tones, and decorated with the logo formed by the letters “Rhu”. A word that is presented as the acronym for “Redesigning Human Uniform”, a message with which the creative and the chain have tried to give meaning to this collaboration.

Ahora… Now… Why don’t you take a look at the top artists and the best looks of Billboards 2022?
