UNIQLO, the global fashion retailer, will launch the UNIQLO and J.W. ANDERSON Autumn/Winter 2021 collection inspired by author Beatrix Potter on 25 November. The new collection with the award-winning London-based brand brings an urban twist to serene weekend country living. It continues UNIQLO’s ongoing quest to deliver everyday comfort through Lifewear – simple, high-quality, affordable everyday wear that makes life better for everyone.


Jonathan Anderson says that for him, “This collection is, above all, about mimicking the season. I wanted something that really reflected that autumnal feeling and autumn in the English countryside. Comfortable clothes that look worn in. Something cosy.”

Traditional tartan print and stitching create a casual contrast in an autumnal and wintry colour palette. Quilted garments and warm fleece linings are the perfect allies for weekend getaways away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As a novelty, the new collection includes loungewear and home accessories such as cushions and blankets.

Like many others, Jonathan Anderson has revered Beatrix Potter‘s classic stories since childhood. The new collection features the author’s best-known characters: Peter Rabbit and his cousin Benjamin Bunny, who appear on unisex printed sweatshirts and oversized T-shirts.
