Salomon’s XT-6 RECUT features 3 revised colourways with new materials while maintaining the same level of cushioning, durability and descent control.

Salomon has been playing in the French Alps since 1947. With a heritage of creating authentic outdoor products and knowledge of the mountain environments for which they are designed, the sports brand feels uniquely qualified to fulfil this fantasy. The Sportstyle range of footwear does so by engineering technical products for an urban audience.

First launched in 2013, the XT-6 silhouette is a favourite of world-class athletes for ultra-distance races in tough conditions. Now, ten years later, it is updated with new colours and materials. An authentic version of an iconic shoe where every last detail has been taken care of. EVA cushioning protects the foot and ensures soft landings on all types of terrain. The lightweight, aerodynamic construction features a mix of durable TPU foil and mesh designed to last, while the drop chassis and lug geometry provide stability.

Undoubtedly a cult favourite thanks to its eye-catching design paired with performance – from outdoor enthusiasts to professional athletes to fashion culture creators and the creative industry – it remains one of the most sought-after models.

The X-6 RECUT will be available on January 26th through Salomon‘s website as well as in some of its physical shops.
