Reggaeton artist J Balvin reworks the Nike Air Jordan 2 with a cushioned upper and fun graphics that mimic the cloudy sky.
Trainer brands are at a time when they are constantly launching collaborations with the most relevant musical artists of the moment, and Jordan Brand is undoubtedly the pioneer in generating this type of union. Their list of partnerships includes Travis Scott, Billie Eilish and J Balvin.
After completely reworking the Air Jordan 1 High, the reggaeton singer opted to be just as extravagant for his next collaborative release with Nike. The new Jordan 2s created by J Balvin feature more padding than usual and a cloud print.
Balvin’s signature smiley face logo arrives on the lower back and the lace tips are wrapped in a striking shade of pink. In addition, the basketball and wings logo that appears on the tongues and soles is designed to glow in the dark.
There is no official release information yet, but the sneaker should be available sometime in 2022.
