Shanghai Fashion Week has already started and one of the most acclaimed designers has just surprised us with her SS19. Feng Chen Wang has shown a proposal in which the collaboration with Converse focused all the attention.
Based on the division as a concept and under the title “MY HALF“, Wang re-elaborated Converse’s garments, creating an asymmetric game in which a mix of codes coexisted creating a really interesting collection. The dichotomy between personal life and work balance was evident in the mashup of utilitarianism with everyday clothes. This vision reached its maximum in the footwear where the Chuck Taylor All-Star focused all the attention.

Presented in five different colours, the sneaker consists of a maximalist reconstruction defined by redundant layers. A reinterpretation that fits perfectly with Feng’s vision of the SS19.
