ASICS x Kiko Kostadinov SS19

Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS have just unveiled their new collaboration for this SS19 season. And obviously it’s another hard hit on the table.

The new capsule from Kiko Kostadinov & Asics includes the new sneaker GEL-Sokat Infinity, as well as a range of technical garments.

Curiously, this new shoe finds part of its inspiration in the “sport” of Sokatira, widely practiced in the Basque Country, hence the protection on the inside of the heel. The GEL-Sokat Infinity is the first collaboration between Kiko and Asics on this model.

The sole of the sneaker is that of the GEL-QUANTUM INFINITY and is complemented with the spiral logo of ASICS. The sneakers will be released in three colors: “Pepper Mint/Forest Green,” “Lavender Grey/Purple Plumeria” and “Dark Grey”.

To accompany the footwear, Kostadinov and ASICS have also introduced clothing for the first time. The resulting capsule includes windbreaks, technically influenced trousers and tops that make clear reference to both performance wear and Kostadinov’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection.

The complete Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS collection will be presented for the first time at Ginza’s Dover Street Market on April 5, before going on sale worldwide on April 19.
