The American Apparel brand has created a capsule collection in association with Shaun Ross that advocates uniqueness and self-acceptance.

The American Apparel brand has created a capsule collection with Shaun Ross. These are four limited edition t-shirts designed by the American model, dancer and activist, each with a photograph of a person with a different and unique skin type. Each shirt shows a abstract body detail that makes the piece a true work of art.

Shaun Ross was the first male albino pro model and achieved fame by appearing in some videoclips of artists of the standing of Beyoncé, Lana del Rey or Katy Perry. With a hypnotic physique and admirable principles, Shaun Ross has always struggled to claim the uniqueness and acceptance of oneself. “So many individuals try to place themselves in categories, when they should just shine brightly in their own goodness,” Ross says, on the occasion of his new action as designer of American Apparel. This line of t-shirts is his latest cry to redefine the traditional concept of beauty.

The four protagonists of the shirts were personally selected by Shaun Ross (@shaundross). The price of each garment is 28$ and they are already available on the brand’s website. This message of self-acceptance makes the collection one of the most interesting collaborations this year.
