Following the relaunch of Baby Phat last year, the clothing brand that celebrates curves, black skin and street culture has partnered with Foot Locker for a joint collection entitled “Courtside Capsule”.

As Kimora Lee Simmons, founder of the brand (@babyphat), said in a statement, this collection “is a true story of empowerment for girls. Baby Phat has always been designed by and for women, and we have always made a bridge between the feminine and the sporty”.

The collection, which includes a total of 8 items, features a red hooded sweatshirt with matching trousers and a basic white T-shirt with the logo.

In addition to the launch of this limited edition capsule, Simmons and her daughters have also undertaken a food distribution initiative to help families affected by the current coronavirus pandemic. According to Complex, Kimora Lee, Ming Lee and Aoki Lee have collectively donated 150,000 meals through the Freedom Shield Foundation, with another 160,000 scheduled for this week.

The “Courtside Capsule” collection is now on sale on the Foot Locker website.
