The Mulleavy sisters invite us to dream, once again, through their new elusive film shot by Todd Cole. Among pastel garments, big hats, feathered gloves and floral dresses, Rodarte dresses with nostalgia its collection for the autumn-winter 2021 season.
The beach as a backdrop, and creative freedom at the core. This proposal, diluted between fashion and art, stars friends, collaborators and muses that surround the american brand, such as the designer Aurora James and the model Heather Kemesky.
“Clueless” becomes the main source of inspiration for this collection that is a throwback to the 90s, and its silhouettes and latent trends. Thus, we can see different flowing dresses with vintage floral prints or bathed in grunge black. Patterns that are translated, in the same way, in different tops and elastic trousers without gender.
Co-creative directors Kate and Laura Mulleavy close the FW21 series with a new varsity jacket, as well as sequined dresses to shine on the post-pandemic night.
