Celebrating craftsmanship and putting the focus on the magic of the holidays, LOEWE presents its ‘Holidays’ Christmas collection.
For Shohei Fujita and Chisato Yamano, founders of Suna Fujita, natural landscapes and animals are their greatest source of inspiration when creating works of art. These characters come from their childhood memories, life with their son and pet, and their own imagination, and are brought to life through hand-painted stories on ceramic figures.
Now, the creative studio teams up with LOEWE for the ‘Holidays’ collection, transporting these magical figures into knitwear, jumpers, jeans, bags, sneakers, wallets and accessories. The Hammock bag in green features a drawing of a boy, two panda bears and a yellow bird on an autumn tree, while a penguin seems to float above the iconic Puzzle. All the illustrations have been meticulously hand-painted onto the pieces, giving unique results.
A percentage of the proceeds from each sale will go to Save The Children’s Education in Emergencies programme, which works to ensure safe learning environments for children in humanitarian crises around the world.
