LOEWE’s SS24 women’s collection continues to play with perspectives and proportions

Jonathan Anderson maintains the common thread of his previous show through the reduction of garments to the silhouette, the importance of details and the exploration of points of view.

Last Friday, LOEWE‘s SS24 women’s collection was unveiled in the French capital. A unique event that no major celebrity wanted to miss: Bad Gyal, Georgina Rodríguez, Charli XCX, Emma Chamberlain, Emily Ratajkowski, Tina Kunakey or Kris Jenner herself were some of the famous faces that starred in the front row and enjoyed this special event.

Among six monumental bronze sculptures created by artist Lynda Benglis, Jonathan Anderson‘s new designs made their way into the show, full of pragmatism and elegance. Waists were higher than ever, coats that reached to the floor and came back up to fold under the arm, ultra-thick knitted cardigans and oversized metallic buttons, vaporous and asymmetrical dresses and, of course, the iconic Squeeze Bag of the house. There was no shortage of surreal details that elevate the looks, such as the oversized pins as fasteners or the stacked brooches that make up a sparkling top. All this on an autumnal colour palette dominated by browns, greys, navy blues, reds and blacks.
