Louis Vuitton “publishes” their Pre-Fall 2020 campaign

Nicolas Ghesquiere takes the pulp novels aesthetic to present his proposals worn by some of his many muses, fused with the theme.

Nicolas Ghesquiere has decided to expand his imaginary for this year’s Pre-Fall campaign. In this occasion, the French designer takes the pulp novels aesthetic – traditionally constructed with cheap materials but with visual richness that enlightens any self-respecting library – to present his proposals worn by some of his many muses, fused with the theme.

Romance, horror or sci-fi, pulp novels has been in our hands in some point of our lives. Their covers were a premonition of what was inside, but precisely the aesthetic of those covers is what gave this genre such a big success through history. The so popular “Goosebumps” books are a clear example of it, gaining the teenage cult literature status.

Inspired by this graphic style so eccentric and retro-like, Nicolas Ghesquiere puts context to his Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2020, being one or two of his muses the ones on the covers in such a genius production from the French creative.

Sophie Turner (@sophiet), Jaden Smith (@c.syresmith), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (@gugumbatharaw), Emma Roberts (@emmaroberts) or Ghesquiere himself (@nicolasghesquiere) are the faces to the fiction characters for titles like “Dragon Slayer”, “Don’t turn around” or “Lost Planet”.

Benefitting from the theme we find the most important piece of this collection. A t-shirt with William Peter Blatty’s “Exorcist” cover printed on the front rounds up this colorful and unique presentation for Vuitton’s Pre-Fall 2020.

Never forget that, some dreams, has real consequences…
