Milan Fashion Week (women): The in-person shows are back!

The Camera di Moda has unveiled the official Milan Fashion Week calendar, and the news is that the in-person shows are back!

Finally! That’s what we thought (and shouted) when we saw the official calendar for the next edition of Milan Fashion Week (MFW), as after several seasons of no shows and digital presentation, it looks like the shows are back and the road to the old normal is coming to an end.

On this occasion and unlike the previous edition, all the most important firms that make up this calendar will unveil their collections in person and with the public between 22 and 28 February. Among all of them we can find some like: Fendi, Alberta Ferretti, Roberto Cavalli, Max Mara, Sunnei, Prada, MM6 Maison Margiela, Blumarine, Tod’s, Missoni, Etro or Versace.

However, although all of these aforementioned luxury brands always end up hogging some of the limelight, everything points to the fact that this edition will be dominated by others, such as: the return of GCDS to the runways, the return of Moschino to Milan after having debuted at New York fashion week, the debuts of Ambush and Matthieu Blazy for Bottega Veneta and the first Ferrari show with a large audience. Oh, and of course we can’t forget the return of Gucci to the city.

Are you ready for Milan Fashion Week? We are. Let the countdown begin.
